(CBT)

One of the most thoroughly researched therapies in existence — CBT offers practical, structured tools to help you understand and shift the patterns of thinking and behaviour that are holding you back.

What is CBT?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is based on a simple but powerful idea: the way we think shapes the way we feel, and the way we feel shapes the way we behave.

When those patterns become unhelpful —anxious thinking, avoidance, self-criticism — they can take on a life of their own and make everyday life harder than it needs to be.

CBT works by helping you identify those patterns clearly, understand where they come from, and build new, more useful ways of responding. It's structured and goal-focused, which means you'll leave sessions with practical tools and strategies — not just insights.

Kirsteen has extensive experience delivering CBT to children, adolescents, and adults across a wide range of presentations, and she tailors each treatment plan to the individual.

Structured & Goal Focused

Sessions are purposeful and collaborative. You and Kirsteen will identify clear goals and work toward them at your pace.

In Person & Telehealth

CBT is equally effective delivered online. Research confirms no meaningful difference in outcomes between face-to-face and Telehealth sessions.

Suitable for All Ages

CBT can be adapted for children, teenagers, and adults — the approach is tailored to suit developmental stage and individual needs.
